What is the food pyramid, and what are its contents?

The food pyramid is a simple diagram that
provides some general diet and nutritional guidelines for sensible eating habits .

It is composed of six different food groups:

1.Grains Group
2.Vegetable Group
3.Fruit Group
4.Milk Group
5.Fats, oils, and sweets group
6.Meat and beans group.
